What we collect on trueroof.kz, why, where it goes and how to stop it. No wording like “and other purposes” — only what actually happens.

1. Who processes the data

The TrueRoof service (Честная Крыша, website trueroof.kz), a CornerStone project.

Processing is carried out under the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Personal Data and Their Protection” No. 94-V of 21 May 2013.

2. What data and why

Name and phone number

You enter them yourself in the request form. There is one purpose: to prepare an estimate and contact you to deliver it. This data is not used for anything else and is not sold to anyone.

How sending actually works matters. The form does not send your data to our server. It turns it into a ready-made message and opens WhatsApp — you send it yourself, by your own hand. Until you press “send” in the messenger, we see neither your name nor your number.

Anonymised visit statistics

Like almost any website, we count visits. What is collected: IP address, device type and browser, language, pages opened, referral source, actions on the page — clicks, scrolling, choice of brand and roof shape. The purpose is to understand which sections are used and which get in the way, and not to spend the advertising budget blindly.

Yandex.Metrica additionally runs “Webvisor” — a recording of actions on the page. The request form fields are excluded from this recording: the name and phone number you type do not get into it; this is configured separately in the markup.

Data that never leaves your browser

• The calculator’s calculation. Area, roof shape, brand, colour — are calculated on your device. They are not sent to the server.
• An uploaded commercial offer file. It is analysed right in the browser: the file is not uploaded to us or anywhere else. Only the fact of the upload, the file type and size get into the statistics — without the contents and without the file name.
• The browser’s local storage. We save the chosen language, light or dark theme and — if you sent a request — your name and phone number so you don’t have to enter them again. This is stored only on your device. Clearing the site data in your browser deletes all of it irreversibly.

3. Who the data is shared with

We do not sell or pass data to third parties for their own purposes. But external services count statistics for us, which means that technical data about your visit reaches them:

Cross-border transfer. The website is hosted on the equipment of Internet Company PS LLP (PS.KZ) in the Republic of Kazakhstan — server logs do not leave the country. The servers of the other listed services — Google Analytics, Yandex.Metrica, Meta Pixel and WhatsApp — are located outside Kazakhstan. By using the website you consent to the transfer of technical data to these servers. Each service processes it under its own rules, published on its website.

4. Consent and legal basis

You give consent to the processing of your name and phone number at the moment you send a request: this is stated directly under the button in the form. Consent to the collection of technical statistics is given by using the website — if you do not agree, statistics can be disabled as described in section 6.

5. How long we keep it

• Name and phone number — while you are our client or while your estimate is being prepared. We delete them earlier at your request.
• Statistics — for the period set by the service that collected them, usually from several months to two years.
• Data in your browser — until you clear the site data.

6. Your rights and how to exercise them

By law you have the right to know what data of yours we hold, to demand that it be corrected, blocked or deleted, and to withdraw your consent. To do so, simply write or call +7 775 926 01 48 — this is also the WhatsApp number. No separate form is needed; we reply during working hours.

You can withdraw consent at any time without giving reasons. After that we stop processing and delete the data, except where the law obliges us to keep it.

How to disable statistics

• Google Analytics — the official browser add-on that disables collection on all websites: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Yandex.Metrica — opt out via Yandex’s page: instructions in the help centre.
• Meta Pixel — the ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.
• Everything at once — a tracker blocker or private browsing mode. The website and calculator will keep working: the calculation runs in the browser and does not depend on statistics.
• Erase what is already saved — clear the trueroof.kz site data in your browser settings.

7. What we don’t do

• We don’t collect payment data: there is no payment on the website at all.
• We don’t ask for documents, IIN or home address.
• We don’t send emails or messages to people who haven’t submitted a request.
• We don’t pass contacts to anyone except the contractor who will prepare your estimate, and only after your request.

8. Security

The website works only over the secure HTTPS protocol: data between your browser and the server is transmitted in encrypted form. There are no forms on the website that require a password or payment.

9. Changes

If anything on this list changes — for example, if requests start arriving at our server and not only in WhatsApp — we will update this page and change the version date at the top. The date in the header always shows how recent the document is.

This document describes how the website actually works as of the version date. If you notice a discrepancy between what is written here and what actually happens, let us know — it is an error, and we will fix it.
